Isle Royale has a lot of history like,they don't really know who lived there first,but they know that Indians mined copper there but then the French took over.In 1669,Isle Royale was claimed by French explorers.Isle Royale was opened in 1940.
One thing to do in Isle Royale Is to go scuba diving. You might want to wear a wet suit. Just make sure you don't get to cold down there or get lost in debre .

-Seals and other sea animals
-Or go just plane old scuba diving
You can hike from a 1-mile jaunt near Windigo to a 4- mile loop out to Scoville. Point near Rock Harbor.
Another thing you can do in Isle Royale is canoe or kayak. Isle Royale has many lakes and bays which provides miles of water ways for expeirenced kayakers. Lake Superior is known for cold temperatures and random squalls. It is recommend to have a marine radio.
Squalls are little storms that just show up out of nowhere.

DO'S - Hikers can sleep overnight in the three-sided shelters along the trail.
- You can ride a plane or a ferry to Isle Royale.
DONT'S - You can't bury, burn, or scatter trash since there are no trash cans.
- Don't feed the animals there.
- You should not bring your pets.
- Never bring guns, fireworks, or portable stereos.
