It looks like there's going to be some changes too!
But don't worry, we'll guide you through this!
First we will talk about the social changes
To start out with the social aspect of this, some people after the age of 40 have been known to become very bitter after some time. Things that would normally not bother them might begin to, partly because most of their friends are dying. So as a result things begin to look more morbid to them and their views are just all on death. They may begin to also become a little more withdrawn and talk less. Sometimes the person might forget they have said things already and repeat them.
The Social Changes
Physical changes that occur as you get older
As a person gets older they tend to deny the fact that they are aging. Many people have a difficult time accepting it. As a person gets older their hair changes. It begins to thin out and change in color. Their skin also changes as time goes by. Skin gets wrinkly and sags. It has also been shown that as a person gets older they become smaller in both height and weight. Vision is also something that is affected as time goes by.
As some people age they are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and senile dementia. A person with Alzheimer's disease becomes very slow. They slowly forget where they are and who their family is. They second guess them selves when walking down the stairs or steps because of their perception of the step. They don't know how steep it is. Their brain begins to shrink as the Alzheimer's progresses.
3 Facts Older People's Intellect
1. Reflects Aren't As Fast: Older people's reflects aren't as fast because their brain doesn't think or process the same as when they were younger.
2. Test Taking Skill Aren't That Good: Older people may be less educated and less familiar with test taking than younger people. There are many different skills and abilities that combine to produce intellectual functioning, and these skills do not develop at the same rate or time across life span.
3. Older People Have Bad Memory: Memorizing when as you get older is hard but it is even harder when you get brain diseases like, Alzheimer's or senile dementia. Senile dementia decreases in mental abilities experienced by some people in old age. Alzheimer's disease is when the brain starts to deteriorate and this disease can lead to death.
